Losing, or missing, a child must surely be the most painful thing there is.nnI'm a sort of Christian, I suppose, although the matter of prayer still confuses me. I think that prayer is more for self-reassurance; God already hears us. And it's the faith in him that will get those who love Maddy through this all.nnBy the way I will not tolerate disgusting paedophilic comments (have already had to block a few people for that) nor insults to me or Madeleine's family. I don't hate atheists at all (I believe everyone goes to Heaven) but don't give me a reason to hate you.
